The Home Care Center (HCC) links subscribers to the remote monitoring center and enables hands-free communication between the assistance seeking person and the medical monitoring center staff. In addition it functions seamlessly in conjunction with other SHL brand products.
The HCC VI is a distress desktop unit, which is installed in the person’s home, and is placed in a convenient spot such as the living room. Once this unit receives a distress signal from a Telemedicine device it automatically initiates a call to the remote medical monitoring center. This version of the HCC platform is equipped with a two-way communication system enabling the on-duty medical staff to verbally interact with the caller. This set-up requires a person to carry the WatchMan, a portable distress button unit with a built-in microphone.
